Ive just bought this dictionary. It has the same content of the PC and hardcover version. And the greatest thing is the pronunciation.

Its written in a non complicated way to that its fairly easy to understand the meaning of the word. Additionally, click on any word of the description and it takes you to that word. I miss the flash cards and its test too though, but still 4 out of 5

It has the over 1000 page Dictionary pulled into this app. The only thing, besides a new edition, that could really significantly make it better, is if when one looks up a word one could see the gender of the word without actually having to open up its definition. That would be a great shortcut and feature. I look up words a lot of times just to discover the gender. kz

This is a great app. The best one for German as a foreigner. And it has flash cards to study! Awesome

Some bad moments

I own their hard cover dictionary... it was allways a reference for me... But this ´application´ is just a bad pratical joke!!!! extremelly poor interface. short cutted text. No help at all. Look for Untralingua/Collins they know how to do it.

Langenscheidt is a good trademark and always had a good reputation. This dictionary is so bad. Total waste of money. I also bought PRO version of their ENG-GER dictionary for $70. Totálne waste. Same problem. On top of that the links in this dictionary dont even work. Hit and miss. Most highlighted words links dont work. Total waste. Dont buy anything from Langenscheidt till they redesign this crappy app.
